Accommodation booking websites for Pacific hotels & guesthouses

Your own booking engine, your own guest data, your own margin. Guests see real room availability, pay a deposit online and receive confirmation instantly — without being handed to an OTA that charges commission on the booking.

  • Live room and rate availability
  • Direct bookings with online deposits
  • Channel sync with the OTAs you still use
What gets in the way

Why the current setup leaks bookings

None of this is unusual — it is what running a rental, booking or retail operation on messages and spreadsheets looks like. The fix is a flow that does the boring parts automatically.

Problem 01

OTA commission on repeat guests

A guest who stayed last year and searches your name should not cost you 15–20% again. Without a direct booking option, they often book through the marketplace out of habit.

Problem 02

Availability answered by email

Enquiries ask 'do you have a room for these dates?' and someone checks a spreadsheet. By the time they reply, the guest has booked elsewhere.

Problem 03

Rate confusion across seasons

High season, low season, weekly rates, extra guests and breakfast inclusions end up in a PDF rate card that nobody updates consistently.

Problem 04

No guest record after checkout

Bookings live in an OTA inbox. You cannot easily email past guests, offer a return rate, or see which room types actually make money.

What you get

Built to take the booking,
not just describe the business.

Every item below is part of the platform, not an upsell slide. Scope is agreed in writing before work starts so there are no surprises.

01

Room types and live availability

Each room or fale has its own calendar, occupancy, minimum stay and rate rules. What is booked is not offered.

02

Deposits and online payment

Take a deposit or full payment at booking, in the currency the guest expects, with automatic reconciliation against the reservation.

03

Channel sync

Keep the OTAs you still rely on in step with your own calendar, so a direct booking never creates a double booking.

04

Guest messaging and upsells

Automated arrival instructions, airport transfer offers, late checkout and return-guest rates — sent at the right moment.

05

Reviews and repeat bookings

Collect reviews after checkout and invite past guests back with a direct booking link that does not pay commission.

06

Built for island connectivity

Fast pages, small images and a booking flow that completes on a weak mobile connection — because your guest may be researching from a ferry or a remote village.

Questions

Common questions about accommodation

Can we keep using Booking.com and Expedia as well?

Yes. Most operators keep the OTAs for discovery and use their own site for direct and repeat bookings. We can sync calendars so availability stays consistent, subject to what each channel's API allows.

How much does an accommodation booking website cost?

A single-property site with live availability, deposits and confirmation email typically starts from NZ$4,500 and scales with room types, multi-property support and channel integrations. We quote a fixed scope in writing before starting.

Do guests need an account to book?

No. Guest checkout is the default because accounts add friction. Guests receive email confirmation and a link to manage their booking; your team sees everything in the admin.

Can it handle multi-currency pricing?

Yes. You set a base currency and we can display converted estimates for international guests, while settlement stays in your operating currency.
