Maali Company Plus — moving a Samoan store onto WooCommerce with ANZ eGate payments
A custom-built Samoan storefront could not take local card payments. We inventoried all 33 pages, 12 products and 40 variations, then re-hosted the shop on WooCommerce with an ANZ eGate MPGS integration and WST pricing.
The challenge
Where they started
Maali Company Plus sells online in Apia with delivery across Upolu and Savai'i, quoted in WST. The existing shop was a custom server-rendered application: no cart plugin could simply be switched on, and there was no route to the ANZ eGate MPGS gateway the business needed for local cards. Rebuilding meant first proving nothing would be lost — every page, product, variation, price and image had to be accounted for.

The catalogue rebuilt on WordPress and WooCommerce, with permalinks, currency, timezone set to Pacific/Apia and language set for Samoa.

ANZ eGate MPGS payments
Integration with the ANZ eGate MPGS gateway on the version requirements WooCommerce actually needs, giving the shop a working local card rail.

Delivery model that matches the country
Apia pickup plus Upolu and Savai'i delivery built into checkout, because a single flat shipping rule does not describe Samoa.
