Supply Pacific — a logistics front door for Pacific freight enquiries

A Pacific logistics business needed a site that turns scattered freight enquiries into qualified requests, with the quoting workflow handled behind a staff console.

The challenge

Where they started

Freight to Pacific island destinations is quote-driven: nothing is bought from a price list, everything starts as an enquiry. That makes the website's only real job qualification — collect the lane, the volume, the commodity and the timing before a human spends time pricing it. A generic contact form produces unusable enquiries.

What we built

The platform, piece by piece

1 / 4

Enquiry-first structure

The site is organised around getting a usable freight request rather than around describing the company.

2 / 4

Structured forms

Forms capture the details a quote actually depends on, so enquiries arrive complete instead of starting a four-email exchange.

3 / 4

Staff console

Submissions, models and content management handled behind a login, so the team can respond without a developer.

4 / 4

Deployed off the public root

Deployed on cPanel with Passenger, with application code placed outside public_html so the source is not web-accessible.

Outcomes

What changed

  • · Enquiries arrive with the information needed to quote
  • · Staff manage submissions without developer help
  • · Source code is not exposed to the web
